Driphaus royalties
DRiP creators can set a royalty percentage on collectible resales, choose a receiving wallet and allocate shares of the total royalty to collaborators. DRiP's royalty guidance calls for SOL in the designated royalty wallet to support payment delivery. Resale royalties have separate settings and funding requirements from the daily USDC payouts creators earn through channel activity.
Resale Rates and Recipients
DRiP's Royalties on DRiP guide, updated September 29, 2025, describes on-chain enforcement of royalties on secondary sales. A creator royalty is a percentage of the collectible's resale price. The creator chooses the desired percentage; the guide recommends 5% to 10% without making that range mandatory.
The Royalty section also lists a fixed 1.5% DRiP platform royalty. The creator royalty wallet identifies the creator's recipient address, while additional wallet entries allow collaborators to share royalty proceeds.
Collaborator percentages apply to the total royalty. A collaborator's assigned share therefore needs to be interpreted against the royalty amount, rather than directly against the full resale price.
Royalty Setup and Delivery Stages
| Stage | Action and Applicable Condition |
|---|---|
| Channel Defaults | Set the primary royalty wallet and desired percentage when creating the channel. For an existing channel, royalty settings are editable in DRiP Studio under Settings, then Channel. |
| Collectible Settings | Check the royalty field while creating the collectible. The creation guide updated March 31, 2026 says royalties have a default setting and can be modified for an individual collectible before submission for review. |
| Collaborator Allocation | In the Royalty section used when submitting collectibles, add collaborator wallet addresses and assign their percentages of the total royalty. Keep those recipient shares distinct from the creator royalty rate on the resale price. |
| Wallet Funding | Keep SOL in the designated royalty wallet before expecting payment delivery. The September 29, 2025 royalty guide recommends at least 0.0001 SOL and warns insufficient funding may prevent delivery after a sale. |
| Secondary Sale and Payment | The resale is the event the royalty applies to under DRiP's described on-chain system. Receipt of the royalty proceeds in the configured wallet is the payment outcome; an entered percentage or submitted collectible alone does not establish receipt. |
The 0.0001 SOL figure is a recommended wallet balance for transaction fees. It is not a fixed charge for each resale. The royalty rate determines the royalty amount, while the wallet's SOL balance supports the documented delivery process.
Daily USDC Payouts
DRiP's DRiP Creator Payouts & USDC Accounts article, updated February 19, 2026, describes a separate daily payout system for droplets earned through Thanks, Secures, auctions and Storefront sales. It lists a 1% platform fee for those transactions. That payout fee should be read within its droplet-earnings scope; it does not replace the secondary-market royalty settings described in the royalty guide.
Daily creator payouts go to the connected payout wallet in USDC on Solana. DRiP requires an active USDC token account with a small existing balance and says 0.001 USDC is enough to keep the account open. If the account is closed or has no active balance, payouts pause and accumulate. Reopening or funding the account releases pending payouts in the next daily cycle.
The relevant funding check depends on the payment type: DRiP's resale royalty instructions concern SOL in the designated royalty wallet, while its daily payout instructions concern an active Solana USDC account with an existing balance.
